1. 定

meaning : to decide
kunyomi : sada-meru, sada-maru
onyomi : tei, jou
stroke : 9
kotoba : 予定=yotei=schedule、決定=kettei=decision、定める=sadameru=to decide/to determine
kanji to decide




2. 庭

meaning : garden, yard
kunyomi : niwa
onyomi : tei
stroke : 10
kotoba : 家庭=katei=household、裏庭=uraniwa=backyard、校庭=koutei=schoolyard

3. 笛

meaning : whistle, flute
kunyomi : fue
onyomi : teki
stroke : 11
kotoba : 汽笛=kiteki=steam whistle、口笛=kuchibue=to whistle

4. 鉄

meaning : iron
kunyomi : -
onyomi : tetsu
stroke : 13
kotoba : 鉄道=tetsudou=railroad、地下鉄=chikatetsu=subway

5. 転

meaning : to roll, fall down
kunyomi : koro-bu, koro-garu
onyomi : ten
stroke : 11
kotoba : 自転車=jitensha=bicycle、転ぶ=korobu=to fall down, to roll、回転=kaiten=rotation

meaning : metropolitan

meaning : to throw

kotoba : 投げる=nageru=to throw、投書=tousho=contribution、投手=toushu=pitcher

meaning : beans

onyomi : tou, zu
stroke : 7
kotoba : 枝豆=edamame=green soybeans、小豆=azuki=red beans、大豆=daizu=soybean

meaning : island

onyomi : tou
stroke : 10
kotoba : バリ島=barishima=Bali island、宝島=takarajima=treasure island、半島=hantou=peninsula
