Learn Japanese Kanji Lesson Chapter 59 (包法望牧末満未民無脈)

meaning : to wrap

kunyomi : tsutsu-mu

onyomi : hou

stroke : 5

kotoba : 包む=tsutsumu=to wrap、包帯=houtai=bandage

2. 法

meaning : law

kunyomi : -

onyomi : hou

stroke : 8

kotoba : 方法=houhou=way/method、法律=houritsu=law

3. 望

meaning : hope

kunyomi : nozo-mu

onyomi : bou, mou

stroke : 11

kotoba : 望む=nozomu=desire、希望=kibou=hope

4. 牧

meaning : pasture

kunyomi : maki

onyomi : boku

stroke : 8

kotoba : 牧場=bokujou=pasture

5. 末

meaning : end

kunyomi : sue

onyomi : matsu, batsu

stroke : 5

kotoba : 週末=shuumatsu=week end

6.　満

meaning : full

kunyomi : mi-chiru, mi-tasu

onyomi : man

stroke : 12

kotoba : 満月=mangetsu=full moon、満ちる=michiru=be full

7.　未

meaning : yet

kunyomi : ma-da, ima-da

onyomi : mi

stroke : 5

kotoba : 未来=mirai=future、未だ=mada=yet

8.　民

meaning : citizen
kunyomi : tami

onyomi : min

stroke : 5

kotoba : 国民=kokumin=citizen、民主=minshu=head of the nation

9.　無

meaning : nothing, without

kunyomi : na-i
onyomi : mu, bu

stroke : 12

kotoba : 無料=muryou=free、無い=nai=nothing

10.　脈

meaning : pulse

kunyomi : -

onyomi : myaku

stroke : 10

kotoba : 動脈=doumyaku=artery、文脈=bunmyaku=context
